The first thing I did after leaving Cuba and when arriving in Cancun was ordering a vegetarian burrito. I couldn’t wait to eat lots of vegetables and have some spices in my food. A trip around Cuba
After my stay in the hostel in Havana, it was time to join my travel group. We had a small group with only 5 people, which consisted of one English girl, a Hungarian couple, an American girl (my roommate) and myself. It was nice to have such a small group, and we all got along quite well. The tour included a round-trip from Havana to Venãles to Cienfuegos to Trinidad and back to Havana via Santa Clara. Cuba has been on my list of countries to visit for a long time, so when I saw how affordable the flights from Cancun to Havana were I couldn’t resist and I decided to hop on a plan. Wow, talk about a shock to the system. The next stop after the warm summery temperatures of Hawaii was San Francisco. After an average temperature of 25-27degrees the 15degrees and rain that welcomed me to San Fran were a little shocking to both me and my body. My body promptly reacted with getting sick. Exploring the North Shore and the West Coast (Oahu Part 2)
Of course I also had to leave Honolulu and surrounds to go and explore the famous north shore as well as the less visited west side of the island. I did two trips to the north shore. The first one was with a couch surfing host that took me, a friend of mine and 2 other couch surfers on a trip around the east side and north shore of the island.
